How do I run a background check and credit score check?

I am managing my first property that is currently vacant. I have been getting lots of people to come see the home, but the guy who handles running the background check and credit score check has been hospitalized so now I need to do it. How does one go about doing this? Is there a way I can do this online? Should I have some sort of online application as well? Would I need to set up a google form for that or is there a better way? I am kind of in the dark when it comes to paperwork for renting a home as this is my first time. All advice welcome!

I use myrental.com for credit/background check (i have no affiliation with any of these companies!) and Tenanttech.com for all my forms etc!  these two apps work for my 2 bldg 20 unit "empire"!
