Hi BP investors, I've always thought about Air BNB as great in major cities and tourist destinations, but learned of someone doing well with Air BNB rentals in a small city.

I presume you are working with a reputable, local agent who knows the City well and will place you in an area where it will be easy to rent - the areas in which you look will differ depending on whether you plan to rent to Parisian(ne)s or short-term rentals to tourists.

I personally think if you want to do vacation rentals/short term, you should purchase in an area that is very tourist or close to it and has vacationers all year round.Long term rentals. . .

There will always be tourists coming and going + there are lots of cool old houses that are just screaming for a rehab = lots of potential there for investors like us.
