I just interviewed five Denver metro PM's to discuss the state of the market.

Any tips when interviewing a potential property manager?

Specifically will need contractor(s) who have expertise with (in no particular order):-Chimney repair-Drywall repair/replace (two patches on stairs)-Flat roof repair-Plumbing - complete replacement-Update/Clean Up Electrical-Washer/Dryer hookup installation (basement)-Replace both water heaters-Baseboard installation in attic (to make into a legal 3rd bedroom)-Structural corrections to exterior stairs leading to 2nd unit-Structural corrections to front porchI've received a quote from a GC, but want to interview a few other contractors.Thanks,Bret

I hear the horror stories constantly of the bad tenants who slip through the interview and background check cracks.

I’ve interviewed with a few already, there was one that stuck out to me.

I always do a phone interview first because it's harder to make up stuff on the fly.

Example: I interviewed a one who recently went from running a local municipality's finances to independent CPA.

Some of those 14 I have not gotten info from as they requested to have a chat sometime.I'm listing bullet points on their sell points to me and was wondering if y'all can possibly point out "This is a trap, avoid" moments AND "This is great, this firm seems great, go interview with them".Brokerage A:- 80/20 Split up to $10,000,000 (within the annual sales cycle) and then escalates to 90/10 for residential transactions and 80/20 up to $20,000,000 (within the annual sales cycle) and then escalates to 90/10 for commercial transactions.- $50.00/transaction to supplement errors and omissions insurance- Provides leads on round robin system via Realtor.com.

Can you recommend any dependable property managers in the region I could interview?
