I am not super "in touch" with the market there as I live and do all of my business here in Columbia, SC.  

I looked at some of the places Mike Ballard owned his apartments such as Huntsville, Birmingham, Macon, Columbia, Greenville, etc... and for some reason I liked the Huntsville area.

I'm a very new investor in the Columbia, SC area and am working on building a buyers list. 

I think there is a REIA in Hagerstown, there is also the Baltimore REIA (Towson), MAREIA (Ownings Mills) and several Meetups around (BWI Meetup - Columbia, and one in Arbutus (Real Deal Meetup).

Also, if anyone knows of a REI in the Columbia Gorge please keep me posted. 

Although I am in NC currently, I invest in Columbia Heights and Plymouth and plan to continue investing in MN.  

I am from Pulaski Tn and I'm a real estate agent at Crye-Leike in Columbia, Tn.

I live in British Columbia Canada and in February alone prices have appreciated 20%-30% in this red hot market. things have slowed down but things prices still continue to rise 5-7% yearly normally.

@Jay Hinrichs @Bill SargesonIf you either of you guys find yourselves around KGSO on a nice day I usually always have a few Columbia's that are just waiting to be "exercised"

My Daughter just bought a floating home on the Columbia river and that has done very well for her although I suspect deep winter will slow down.
