Seems there are more new jobs here than you can shake a stick at and a lot of those jobs are high tech. 

Shake it off and keep moving!  

Example a Chick Fil A you could sell for maybe a 4.5 cap rate but  a Steak N Shake should be in the 6's for cap rate and they pay less rent even though building size is close to the the same.

You're not only dealing with the government that may not give two shakes about the fact that you're helping the less fortunate as they allow the tenants from hell to wreak havoc on your newly renovated properties without holding them accountable, but you are also dealing with the true bottom of the barrel renters.

Get with a lender in your market who you can actually meet, shake hands with an who has a reputation to protect. 

Hi BP Family, I  live in one of the suburbs in the SF bay area, I spent a day and a half in Dallas Texas for a presentation at a client and my plane just landed back home here in Oakland a few hours ago but I can't shake the possibilities of investing and ultimately living in Dallas Texas.

As for tapering, I see it as necessary to avoid higher inflation and further devaluation of our currency, but it will really shake things up, especially in housing.These two items don't include a generic correction like what you describe.
