My first reaction to this guy was "did you really just say that" and my second one was that I want to work with professionals who will evaluate a deal for the deal.Thanks everyone for the support, I've encountered that attitude in real estate, especially when I was a commercial broker, but I didn't expect it from an investor analyzing deal financials.

Instead of inflation, I see persistent low interest rates, which are zero and even negative at this point in other parts of the world, the dollar is relatively strong, and the reaction of most (aside from perhaps a few on this site) is NOT to go out and take out inexpensive debt to fund investment or consumption, but rather to hoard cash and other low-return but high liquidity alternatives ... this is true not only on personal balance sheets but especially corporate balance sheets.
