The speaker runs one of the Multi-Family Syndication/Education pyramid concepts  Perhaps it's just geared for investors with different interests than mine but would be nice if they catered to people who just wanted to buy real estate, not be taught they can acquire 100 unit buildings in a pay to play scheme.

She said modular homes are much more affordable and all in, if we could find a plot of land at a discount, I'd probably be around the same investment as if I bought a multi-family and fixed it up.

They used to be the best, but now so many seem to outsource the process and maybe both the originating CU and the people they actually farm the loan out to try to make some bucks off it.  

Single family properties can add one and multi-family properties may be able to add more.
