Mortgage Lenders in Dallas, TX

Hello,

I've been doing a little research on a handful of lenders for specifically an FHA Loan. I currently live in Dallas (Plano area) and looking for a solid lender to purchase my first SFH in NE Dallas.

What are your thoughts on RBFCU and PennyMac? Please feel free to propose others. I’m definitely looking.

Thanks for your help!

I don't like the credit unions for the most part any more.  They used to be the best, but now so many seem to outsource the process and maybe both the originating CU and the people they actually farm the loan out to try to make some bucks off it.

Depending on where you want to buy there might be better loans than FHA, BBVA for example has a nice loan called HOME that has something like 3% down and no PMI, depending on your income and where you want to live.
