Scott Rowe, Bob Snyder, and the other folks at Renatus are genuine about wanting to help people change their lives, and live their dreams, but just like anything else, it takes sacrifice, determination, motivation, and a big "Why" to really make it happen.

And genuinely ask them that.

Hi STR investors,  I'm genuinely curious/interested to know if it's typical to charge your guests a cleaning fee AND also ask them to do a list of things as "checkout procedure" like stripping beds of sheets, washing dishes/starting dishwasher, taking out garbage, etc.Thanks,Justin

The tenant made such a genuine plea that we eventually ok'd the cat.

I thank her and tell her I'm going to come and meet her as soon as tax season is over, she seems genuinely happy about that.So we go back out there last night while it's still light out, find the for sale by owner sign on the mustard house, and actually find two more for sale by owner signs.First house (mustard one), I call, owner says it's already sold.Second house, no answer.Third house, this one had a sign on it w/ a price saying $24,900. 4 bed/2 ba.

Again I think she is a genuinely nice person but I do think I put in a lot of time with the friendly reminders.

@Harrison Sharp I do want to genuinely thank you for providing your rationale for why you think my post was horrible advice.

Now, participants on the site self-select to a very great degree insofar as Bigger Pockets is a real estate investment site; however, too often, it seems to me, the question that repeatedly comes up of "what should I do with $5,000 or $10,000 or $20,000" elides this important first question and too often it seems people who genuinely do not know what they are doing aren't pushed enough on their initial investment choices.
