What new information and tools can you acquire quickly and cheaply that make your goal easier to attain?

So we are just finishing up a beautiful house right now.

The goal is to attain as much real estate with the lease amount of capital as possible.

You often find 1/2 duplexes being sold in downtown Frederick from low 100s to mid 200s depending on the location and finishes...

It turned out kind of nice, and it toned down the fireplace brick.If I were you I might get some general finishes java gel stain and stain the bookcases and mantel dark...unless the kitchen is same woodtone, then no....unless you do the kitchen too.

I was thinking of rough construction when I made that statement rather than finishes.

If you are looking for performing assets in these areas, you should be looking in the 30-50k range per unit depending on level of finish and upkeep.  

Any other tips or pitfall with making an offer when remodel is not finished yet?

I'd rather finish the year with more money than expected rather than less!
