I love properties and have had great success with them in other parts of Canada (I am from Ontario).

Do you have something similar in Ontario?

As a practical matter I have not experienced any difficulties from this practice.The Ontario company that is very popular for credit checks for landlords does not require a SIN to access credit.

@Aubrey HardmanIn Ontario Canada the easiest route would be buying the land free and clear.

@Jayson Hinkson I guess I am more in the let them go camp but that is because my properties are desirable and I can normally get them rented within the two month notice period that tenants normally observe here in Ontario.

If not, I file with the tenant board (Ontario).

I had just completed the lease forms and spent $45 on credit checks (no application fees allowed in Ontario).

But It seems next to impossible to find a property like with that rent/price in Ontario (especially KWC area).

planning to start my new business asap, with say 4-8 per mouth, south ontario windows and doors, if I don’t have any problems making my payments on time would you prefer this route for more property ?
