My tenant faced issues with dishwasher and I sent a repairman, who checked the dishwasher and told me that motor had issue and it is better to buy a new one then to fix this one as it would cost me $900. 

Too many techs replace a motor when a $20 cap is bad.

I wouldn't have a place that didn't allow motorized watercraft.

Things changed a lot after 16 years, the place I lived in Eagle Rock is up on the hill called Washington Mount ( if I remember correctly), this area was consider low end area but now that property i lived is like 800k. 

In theory, I could have bought a boat by now for all the money I "threw away", but in reality I didn't have to store the boat, maintain it, replace equipment and motors, or drag it in and out of the water when I wanted to change lakes.

At worst it's the blower motor which can be replaced without purchasing and installing a whole new furnace.

It made an awful motorized whine opening and closing.
