Its Wed evening now and I have 3 applications and I'm expecting some to come via mail from the open house. 

And did I mention the eviction process was happening while I was planning my wedding?

Oh, and by the way, I bought my first property 12 months ago while I still had student loan debt and while we were saving up for a wedding 4 months later so it was a TERRIBLE decision for me, but I dont regret it at all, ha!  

The issue here is although there are some great investments here, the owner/occupant factor is making it tough because the houses in my budget are either too far a commute from the City or not in the condition of something we’d wed want live in the next few years. 

I've been to Harrisburg once before for a wedding.

The reason we eneded up buying out of state is because with our hometown, we realized we are only booked on weekends because we are a wedding town.

., while I would wonder why you are wedded to Charlotte, I would not just shut the lights off and go home.  

We flew in from the west coast for a wedding, drove down to check on it while we were there, and found that nothing had been done (and she knew we were coming to inspect!).
