Hi everyone, I had a question about something I heard on the BiggerPockets podcast today that blew my mind to pieces.I am unsure of what episode I was listening to, but the person they were interviewing was an agent who bought properties with his buyers agent commission as part of a down payment.I am an agent, and was wondering if it is allowed for me to buy a SFH or MFH with the intent to househack as an agent, so I can use my 2% commission from the seller for being the “buyers agent”?

I’d recommend taking a couple months at least to focus on educating yourself if you haven’t already, interview plenty of agents that can help you evaluate properties and will educate you along the way, and attend some real estate investing seminars.
