I had an inspector go out and take a look at it during construction and he found MAJOR problems ranging from possible asbestos insulation being airborne, lead-based paint cracking, cracks in the foundation and crawl space, old knob and tube wiring, moisture and mold issues, roof shingles replacement, and loads of other issues.Rather than talking about them, I made a playlist of the inspection here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

doesn't look good", "recommend a specialist", "need different vendor", "looks like it can last", "looks like outlet burned out" (yet, he only lists the $20 charge to change the outlet cover), "remove mirrors".Moving on to the charges, I don't have a clue of your local costs, but first of all, an unlicensed handyperson should not be on the roof; regardless, if he plans to charge you $550 to brush on a little roof cement around the penetrations, way over priced.

The reason being is that eng'd is more adaptable to fluctuations in moisture content, and does not tend to warp as bad, therefore is in higher demand.

So long as the partnership capital accounts are properly monitored and the bylaws of the LLC are strictly adhered to, I don't see how this could be penetrated.

A great inspector is going to let you know the life-cycle of the siding, and potentially scope out the roof to give you an idea about how long before the next special assessment should be coming...And while in condo's in general you own what is between the faces of your drywall, if the HI finds moisture or leaks in your plumbing you could be facing a bigger headache than if you just owned the whole building.Also have you made sure the condo is financeable as an investment property?
