I am contemplating on my current project on wether  I should make the current apartment a 3 bedroom but sacrifice the living room space or make it a 2 bedroom with a bigger living room space .

Who can i speak to in the construction/builder space that could help me get an understanding of costs /planning for a new build.Thank you 

Very common scam in the US RE space today.. so do be careful what your asking for does not happen in a business setting.

Are you looking to jump into the multi-family space immediately or start with something smaller? 

Focus on how to juice cash flow if possible (rent by the room, separating spaces, etc.) or decreasing expenses (assuming a loan, looking at new build incentives, aggressive offers w/ rate buy downs that work for you, etc.) 

I sold my last car 6 years ago to get me in this real estate space.

I'm personally looking at the 2-4 space right now as I think there should be good opportunity there to make the numbers work in high-value markets

Other people in the lending space might have better answers, but some lenders quote taxes, insurance, etc. to fully understand the monthly cash burden and ensure you know it as well.
