There is a ton of wonderful brick homes available with immense charm, you can also get some very attractive deals in the area.

The house are large with a lot of charm.

Not nearly as charming as cabins but we will use them for short and long term rentals.

There are a number of houses that have mother-in -law apartments, or, as they are charmingly called in the Chicago area, "granny flats" and those can sometimes be a good buy for someone looking to get  additional rent income on an owner occupied.

Then you have Gruene and Wimberly that if they can keep their character and charm they will become some of the hottest real estate around.

It is more of an older charm than outdated mess.
