Avoid East Cleveland, Slavic Village, and Woodland/Buckeye. 

It's one thing to have an office in Los Angeles and another in San Diego... but it's something else entirely to have an "office" in Los Feliz, Woodland Hills, Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale (all part of Los Angeles Metropolitan Area for those who aren't familiar with those barrios).

That area has seen tremendous growth especially in The Woodlands area.

I have a vision of what you mean by cabin but I wouldn't consider 8 bedrooms a cabin, that's a large woodland retreat.  

Toluca Lake, Valley Village, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills,  Calabasas,  West Hills, Bell Canyon, Chatsworth, Northridge( majority),  Porter Ranch, Granada Hills.

If it helps, I have a 2200 sqft 3-2-2 in the North Fort Worth area (Villages of Woodland Springs).
