We are looking at a historic multi family in San Diego the sellers have not filed the Mills Act paperwork What are the ramifications of filing for Mills Act on a rental property?

I am in the Tampa Bay Florida area and you can't find land like unless you go out away from the beach areas which is what we are known for.

We are based in Milwaukee WI and have tenants from Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee and it's pretty much hurry up and wait. 

We are headquartered in VA Beach, so I am not too far away.

That is something we are still trying to figure out. 

My wife (she picks all our STR stays) would not rent a STR in that type of area in any City but we are not everyone so take that with a grain of salt.
