I know the production homebuilders sell lots way in advance, but I think that's a whole different ballgame. 

You will owe monthly payments until you fix the property up, rent it out, and refinance to a more traditional 30 year fixed rate product. 

+I've researched something called an FHA Construction loan in terms of financing this project, but it seems that most large banks don't offer that product.

There are thousands of lenders and tens of thousands of loan products.

You steered away from a product that obviously works (look at all the students here defending the product) and makes you a ton of money because you didn't like how the creator of the program "seems" to act in a forum.

Anyone who is advertising an "easy way", you are the product.
