Put some--a little--into lids such as yogurt lids, sour cream lids, etc, along with some dry sugar of cocoa powder and slide them under the stove, fridge, back of cupboards, etc, where kids and pets can't get to them.Shouldn't take long before they're gone.

I wouldn't recommend using the peel & stick stuff unless it was just a powder room (vanity & toilet only).

You don't have to use a powder nailer to attach the sheathing/underlayment to the concrete (in essence a "floating" floor) but that is also a possibility.
