I can be in crowds who I'm very familiar with, but with strangers, I can be awkwardly reserved. 

Now, I'm no stranger to dealing with tenants, but this was on a whole other level.

Living with others / strangers isn't easy.

Putting up with strangers partying loudly every weekend is a difference of degree so great as to be a difference in kind.

It is not worth it to move to a "bad" neighborhood or having to commute hours to then have to live with strangers if there are alternatives.With the house used as an example the mortgage is around $900 not including the utilities etc. 

On top of all that, I wouldn't want to sit around rewinding video to try and Perry Mason who the Hamburglar was, and then have to mediate petty disputes between strangers from afar.
