Some like to work without someone staring over their shoulder but it's worth it to ask because you can point out things and ask questions and it will help give you a much greater idea with what your getting into.

I would also find out if the rental management contract allows you to manage rentals yourself (AirBnB) in the shoulder season.

Next thing you know it was about 3 weeks later and the owner tapped me on the shoulder and called me into his office and asked “what do you think about running the sales dept. what I’m trying to say is the same thing as everyone on here said “ get smiling and get dialing and it will be ok” it’s just fear of the unknown, we all have it at some point in our life but we get past it.start off by looking forward to hearing the no’s for each one gets you more comfortable and closer to a yes.

I would try and paint somebody into a corner that they can't have it both ways - either it's your steps or it's theirs - the respective owner/steward should shoulder the responsibility.

They owe roughly 100k on the home and really they are wanting to get the burden off of their shoulders and the constant bother of "dealing with tenants".
