We totally get away with the smallest machines because our STRs are designed for a maximum of 2 people.

Same thing I still do  BRRRR method  Buy a SFR - 200k < and pay 15% down using a RENO construction loan Use the extra Funds to pay for first round of materials ( 30k or so )and Labor (20k ) and then request your "draws" to recoup your funds.

Do you know why they can get away with this is because people buy this crap. i am disappointed in RD because you would think someone out there wants to really help the little guy, I guess they do its just going to cost you $40k.

My recommendation is to get a side gig or second job, and start putting pre-paying the mortgage by rounding up then re-casting every 18-30 months with some more size.
