It took two of us 2 weeks wearing respirators to sort through and clear out the contents of the home (where he had lived for 20 years).  

No respirators were available beyond P98 paper masks.I got it done, and finished the room, and flipped the apartment.

Nobody wants to be friends with a respirator first.The stuff that really gets to me are shill plays that I objectively know are false.

Let the parrots fly free through the house for years and sit and poop on everything. the house had to be stripped down to the dry wall sprayed completely with microban then spray painted entire interior of house with kilz. we had to use respirators to do the repair.

Also lots of fire extinguishers with full face respirators so people can see and breathe in smokey rooms! 

We have bought 4 foreclosures - 3 went great - the other one literally wreaked of cat urine so strong we had to wear respirators to walk into the house.  

The issues is when it becomes airborne, especially suspended in air and respirated. 

If that happens hopefully hospitals and our government will have had some time to build up a wall of respirators, masks, and financial contingencies to soften the blow as much as possible for next time.  

The answer to complicated government processes is well, complicated.The answer to how we solve the current dilemma is not complicated.Build some respirators.
