It will be MORE work for a PMC to allow you to collect rents, but monitor tenant payments to chase nonpaying tenants.

The farther you are from home the more time it will take to get your team, manage them, and monitor.  

Once it’s in their fold, they seldom monitor price, or respond to reviews, etc. if things are operational they consider that “good enough”. 

Keep monitoring the market and working closely with your property manager for the best strategy.

I think it depends on your property as to where you put them, but we are thinking of either using a Ring or something near the front door to just monitor number of guests.
