(checking, HYSA, HSAs, 401k, Roth IRA, crypto, etc?)

Here are my options as I see them.1) Build up a separate capex reserve fundI have about 13k in savings and 25k in Roth IRA funds which I can withdraw tax free as a backup, but maybe I should build up a separate capex account since I don't have a designated one.2) Purchase another 2-4 familyI could use my 25k Roth funds as down payment on a 5th property that cash flows around $500/month and look to do a BRRRR.

@Shaun Ng I discovered Jack Yvers in New Hampshire and he’s made more with investing my funds from my Roth IRA in 3 months than I made in about 5 years.

just like you likely do with your 401k (through consistent payroll deductions) or an IRA through annual contributions, if not monthly.

Can I flip houses in an IRA or does it have to be buy and holds?

Can you imagine investing your first years contributions to an ira and seeing you earned $155 and saying “I’m not doing that any more, it just isn’t worth it.”  

I looked at that before Covid and my opinion is that for me they would only work within my Roth IRA as a Zero Tax Investment with 10 to 12% Monthly Returns.

I thought I'd try here to see if anyone has had experience buying property with a 401k/self directed IRA.
