There's a feeding frenzy going on in some markets and it's VERY hard to find that needle in a haystack.

I will wait for the MLS data, rather than waiting time trying to find a needle in a haystack.

They do not "purge" their permit files on any timetable.To find these needle in the haystack deals in my county I will have to search through thousands of 2 to 5-year-old records and cross reference them with a visual confirmation of completion....as in, drive to every address.

Being a good deal spotter is important but that's like trying to find that needle in a haystack.

I knew we wanted to stay in Wauwatosa(good school district, happening suburb in Milwaukee and tons of homes with character) However trying to find a foreclosure in Tosa is a needle in a haystack.

At least I know now that I'm looking for a crystal ball in the same haystack!

I don not know IL rules or the market but I will try to help1) In my area there can be decent stuff left over but it is the needle in a haystack finding it.
