If your PM is handling the furnishings/decor, then I would not worry too much about the placement.

I have one unit that rents intermittently for 1290/month furnished.

They work in every area and a 2 bed, 1 bath does not take a lot to furnish.

However Zillow and Furnish finder are simply going to give you a lead.

I am new to real estate investment and planning to start ramping up long term rental properties in 2025, however my first two primary residences were both converted into MIL's and rented within months after closing which effectively followed the House-Hack tactic (we currently rent our furnished basement to primarily traveling nurses for 3-6 months at a time which covers 70% of our mortgage).

I have a single family home with 130k equity renting steady as a medium term furnished rental cash flowing an honest $900/mo. 

The client was willing to gamble on furnishing for STR over LTR route and we were good for 3.5 years, then one day the man came and shut it down. 

Household furniture must be positioned and/or elevated to allow adequate air flow underneath and between furnishings and adjacent walls.

I was able to rent it furnished long term for $1,500 more than the average long term rent in the area.

I also get a TON of off-market, fully furnished STR listings through my network here, which can be lifechanging deals.
