My main goal is to get some cash flow at first as I drained everything 6 had moving here and starting my Airbnb which made me think I'd like to do this again.

Our first three years were fun and successful, this year has been a drain.  

I am wanting to sell all my stocks and just take the cash since I don't want to drain the majority of my savings/checking purchasing real estate and have most of my money in stocks.

Plumbing- corroded cast iron drain lines, corroded copper piping that leaks, sink trap leaks, sink popup ups that are non-functional.

I had to deal with a lot more issues than I've ever had in non-S8 rentals like extensive property damage and also bed bugs, roaches, drain lines completely clogged up by grease (I learned what sewer worms are, look it up), spray paint art on walls and food on ceilings, noise complaints, police at the property, removing dead bodies, etc.  4.

It hasn't happened since but I usually have to have my plumber out every couple years when the back house starts to report issues with their sinks and tub not draining well.At this point I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and redo the whole system while we're out there and consider it a capital improvement benefit that will last for as long as I'll own the property. 

One of my protégés did all finish work (flooring, painting, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, outlets/switches, sink drains, dishwasher, shower, bath vanity, kitchen cabinets and counters (installed but he did cut), etc.  

If your home inspector suggests drains are draining slowly or something along those lines then it might be worth your time to get a sewer inspection.

(It also may be a good old fashioned clogged drain.)Either way, you need to schedule the septic to be pumped out now and every 2-3 years. 

Some people are successful by changing banks and keeping small amounts in several accounts, so the collector can’t drain everything.
