i use mine for STR so it is really nice to have notification when a guest arrives or when cleaners are there.But even for LTR, being able to control codes and provide access for maintenance from a distance is a nice convenience. 

So pay taxes on $130K+ if you rent it out for 5+ years or not if you sell now.

I think it’s worth noting that when you mention a city, a lot of us get hit with a “keyword” notification and the way BP has gotten often that turns into “selling” you our market(s).
