You also have to pay for the extras (internet, cable, utilities) as well as furniture, dishes and linens.

@Luke TrovingerLots and lots of bleach and dish soap with hot water.Also PH balanced cleaners you can buy at Home Depot will take out urine smell.

Now they’ve mentioned they tried to find a place to move but I’ve heard from other landlords they’re skid-dish with taking new tenants now.

You will never control them if the tenants leave out pet food, uncleaned dishes in the sink, and grease in a pan on the stove.

Shampoo, condition, body wash, hand soap, coffee, creamer, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry and dish detergent, copious amounts of sheets, pillow cases, blankets, etc.Nearly every Airbnb host I have talked to has lost money on cleaning fees, so there is another expense.  

I was single then and washed all dishes by hand and rarely ever used more than 1 plate, fork, cup, etc.

I was wondering what people’s opinions are on putting a dishwasher in the basement or if a sink to do dishes would be enough?

I was running some numbers on a property to get some experience in running numbers and I noticed that the property that I was looking at did not have a dish washer.

A little constructive criticism for if you do more of these remodels.It looks like there is a pantry, but not many upper cabinets for the most commonly used dishes.
