Again it’s equivalent of calling an electrician a light switch.  

I wanted to see if there was anyone local to Purdue University that is involved buying or selling real estate.I am an electrician with backgrounds in mechanics and control systems(more information in my profile) and id be more than happy to share my skills in return for mentorship or just to network.Otherwise I was wondering if there are investors in this area (Tippacanoe and surrounding) that could shed some light on this area regarding how difficult it may be or areas to stay away from. 

He also told me that I could use his team of plumbers, electricians, flooring guys, etc if I ever needed help with any of that.....and so I did. 

I've also used GC's to complete full rehab jobs & depending on how much work a house needs and how comfortable I am with the rehab, often times I will sub out the work to different painters, handymen, electricians, plumbers, etc instead of using a GC.The more I do this the more comfortable I am managing the jobs myself and it often times saves me significant amounts of money on the rehab costs to just sub out the work vs using a GC for the full rehab.

If you don't want to hire a P.M then get a team in place... handyman, electrician, plumber, hvac, locksmith and whoever else you need.

Find 2 handymen, 2 electricians, 2 HVAC, and 2 plumbers that you can call on for repairs if needed.

If tenant list only an approved licensed electrician may be used. 

Gen Z may be leading a revival in the trades. 1) In an aging population, the median age of electricians, mechanics, and plumbers is falling. 2) Vocational school enrollment is growing faster than at 4-year colleges.More young folks are considering the trades as a career.

An electrician not getting paid?

I found a retired electrician who did not want to “work” anymore, but could be hired as a consultant to tell me what to do and check my work.
