I have the same viewpoint and rent most to Section 8

Rather than provide an example using commercial property, I’ll use the example of a property I purchased two months ago as a personal (2nd) residence, from the viewpoint of the seller.

We do not want to troll people so since it seems like there has been a lot of discourse and viewpoints expressed so we will be closing this thread but will leave it visible for the community to see for future reference. 

The reason for selling subject to rather than cash or cash with new financing from the sellers viewpoint is to sell for a higher price or sell property that can not be financed with new financing.

I am pretty sure my viewpoint is shared by just as many as those that are ardent supporters of Dave Ramsey like yourself apparently.  

And while BiggerPockets is a platform, not “Scott Trench’s boring old school approach to wealth with good old fashioned personal sacrifice to let personal wealth steadily compound” I often regret allow certain opposing viewpoints into our space. 

So many different thoughts but it’s nice to see other people’s input and viewpoints.  

Since from this viewpoint money is coming into 1 pot & coming out of that same pot to pay for your housing expenses, there's no discount on the household housing expenses.

Too many people read into it from a discrimination viewpoint - in my opinion.
