I have a fix n flip in Decatur right now and if it doesn’t sell than may tease the Air BnB route.

I currently have about $70k in equity from other properties and access to another $30k in cash.Coming up with the other $300k for the temporary flip is the challenge.The online auction keeps getting relisted and is quite the tease.

I could tease this out more, but the main reasons are 1) a down economy, 2) an emerging economy, 3) AAA property locations, 4) lack of credit available, and 5) historical buildings (very sturdy construction, 3-4.5m ceilings, etc) that are very undervalued at the moment for mostly aesthetic reasons that can be fixed quite easily.

Also as @Jack Clough alluded to, the Auction.com opening bid is usually just a tease unless it is an exact number. 

The dumpster providers tease a low rate and swiftly move in rate increases. 

As a result, you start to tease out what aspects of real estate investing you like and what aspects you just don't like. 

I am actually glad you asked because sounds like you could really use something new if what I have read is all true.I have very little patience with people that are teasing their product and don't publish anything of value.
