My long term strategy is developing cash flow to supplant my wife and I's current income.No specific property in mind yet....We are willing to house hack concurrent properties.What are you thoughts?

That will won't get you taken seriously, as even if this was the case, the lender wouldn't likely believe it.Instead, present a couple additional pieces of data that contradict the value she determined or supplant the comps she used.

I would like to slowly build up an invantory of rental properties that could supplement and ultimately supplant my electrical business income.

Needless to say, their income wasn't always guaranteed and was always supplanted by some sob story about how they had to send money to parents, the dog was sick, etc.A long story short, I think the gentleman had a bit more pride than the young lady and started to feel the pressure of missing payments.

Maybe one day it will be supplanted by China, or some other nation, or nuclear hell will rain down and people will trade in chicken legs and ammunition, but until then you can do much, much worse than dollars.
