The general sentiment that I see on forums is that they have to accept whatever path or outcome that a GP chooses, which is not correct if the majority of LPs are with you. when I worked for syndicator in the 80s thats what happened to them LPs revolted and kicked them out as Gps and took over.. of course this did not solve the issue just prolonged the agony and the attorney they hired milked it big time.. a few years later after capital calls etc all was lost anyway.

Because as a business, you want to milk capital items for as much life as you can ring out of them!

You want to milk bonus depreciation and STR loophole, with no intention to operate it as an STR after a brief period.I'm certain that it does go against the intention of the law, as discussed in my post linked  earlier.

My life as a low C-class landlord is milk and cookies every day, chocolates when it rains and flowers when it doesn't.

You might be able to milk the channel why you can but I wouldn't rely on it as a long term strategy. 

I tried cash for keys, but this guy knew the system and milked every angle.

My strategy is not to milk a cheap house for as much as I can, but rather it is to offer a residence that is reliable, presentable, and fairly priced for both myself and the tenant.
