I would look in Bradenton for short-term.

I suspect the stock market and or building then selling a bizzness created a big majority of millionare wealth and or just high paying jobs and save your money :)

The 25k would do fine in a stock index that suits your risk tolerance.

You will likely have negative initial cash flow reducing this return, but typically the negative cash flow is short lived. 

If they are nice enough for AirBnB, then you are probably ok there as well since the stays will be short.
