Sarasota FL Short-Term/Mid-Term Opportunities

I'm looking for neighborhood recommendations in the Sarasota area for a short/mid-term single family or townhome investment in the 400k-500k range. I understand there are many limitations to short-term, or even mid-term rentals down there now, but hoping to see some insights on areas where I might see more of a demand. I've been currently looking around the Lakewood Ranch area, if anyone has any experience investing nearby.
