Charlotte's market is definitely unique and with the influx of people coming here, whether retiring, or for corporate relocation, or just for a change of weather and scenery the sales market isn't as bad here as it is in other parts of the country.

CA leads the way on the migration front with Washington in 2nd place, Oregan, Colorado, and many of the midwest states like Illinois contributing significant numbers as well.Some of the migration is job opportunity and many of the transfers are just looking for new fresh scenery.

I drove up to see it last week and really loved it - it's a nice and quaint plot of land, the house needs lots of TLC that I can do 95% my own, and it just seems like a really charming place to escape to during summer/fall weekends for a change of scenery.
