I have read and am currently reading books on real estate and real estate investing.Following my readings up to date, I am considering house hacking for my first deal in real estate.

I keep getting mixed answers I don't know why this real estate professional tax status is confusing to me along with cost segregation and bonus depreciation no matter how much I read about them Do you pay a good tax professional to give you an answer?

Stay informed and read plenty of books! 

I have been reading books about it, listening to podcasts etc.

Hey @Joy Daniels, I read everything I can all the time.I read a few blogs that go over products and some design.

It’s a straightforward read without much fluff and breaks down different strategies based on your market.

I am still reading books and talking to folks with experience to learn as much as I can.

I have been reading many books on finances, rentals, and real estate and feel this is an area I can have more "control" over my investment rather than placing it all in my 401k and hoping for the best. 

Continue to read and study but it's a lot of information!!
