if you have an LLC and both properties are under it, you just need 1 operating account.If both are under your personal, 1 bank account specifically for the rental is enough for operating.Security Deposits should always be a separate account altogether.

She has expressed strong interest in managing the property and is very organized, which complements my more scattered approach to things.

They don't seem to realize that this is a financial organization. 

Once it is operating, it doesn't require a ton of time, save & except when you have an emergency come up.

Could this be considered an unethical practice in any way, given the organization’s non-profit status?
