The cancel function is not working and I was forced to pay over 400 for service I did not want.There is no customer service number to call.

The safest approach is to pay the worker as a W-2 employee and allow them to donate legally.

@Alvin Sylvain I agree the emotional support animals are B.S. but they are legal and we have to abide by the law.If the animal is an ESA, you are allowed to ask if the person is disabled and what service the animal provides.

Is there a legal recourse?

Per our signed agreement, I gave him 30 days notice of termination of his services via email and asked him to remit all outstanding payments and documentation (he hasn't delivered an owner's statement since June of '24) and assist with the transition to the new PM company.He responded to one text a couple weeks ago when I asked for an update on the transition saying he hadn't received notice from me or heard from the new PM.

Not ready to pull this trigger, but are we legally obligated to find a tenant or can we just tell them the offer has expired and that we are no longer seaking a tenant.
