Hi, All, I have a two station intercom from Radio Shack about 10 years ago.

That pipe within the ceiling is actually an old intercom system.

I'm renovating a 3-family home and I'd like to start thinking about running a doorbell or intercom system.

Should the landlord or tenant be expected to pay for the cost to reprogram the intercom to his/her name?  

The property has 3 floors with in unit washer/dryer, ample storage, intercom, central A/C and 2 deeded parking spots and is also within a 5 minute walk to the Roslindale Commuter Rail station.

I'm looking to spec a 6 unit condo building cellular intercom/access system.

I'm thinking:1.several vicious attack dogs2. electric fences with intercom entry  gate and daily changing passwords 3. a moat filled with alligators Or do what the less crazy people said before....best of luck!
