Hey BiggerPockets community,I’m in the process of defining my investment strategy, and I’d love to hear from those with more experience.I have enough capital to pursue one of these two paths:1️⃣ Build a Single-Family Home Portfolio: Gradually acquire around 20 SFHs using the BRRRR strategy or focusing on positive cash flow properties.

I have decided the multi family is the best path forward for my current life situation. 

In the next 100 days, I do think we take a little breather, or as the finance folks like to say, a correction.

If I were to start my business over, I would definitely choose the path that offers quicker financial rewards.

I am 20 years old and this year I decided to take my path into the real estate world.

While some lender will allow statements from other countries and will convert to USD, the path of least resistance here is to have your funds already in the US and create a US based entity to vest on title. 

I’ve often found that a property’s best path forward isn’t always the most obvious.. sometimes letting go unlocks capital for the next wave of growth, sometimes holding tight after refinancing keeps that reliable monthly boost (from what I’ve heard).I had a friend who snagged a multi-family in a similar price range about a decade ago.. at the time, it felt like a giant step.

I may be overcomplicating things but I also dont want to just jump on the first deal that crosses my path.
