Par for the chorus.

Everyone is singing same chorus regarding inflation but, low interest rates, q.e., zirp, govt stimulus etc are all in place to FIGHT deflation.

I'll join the chorus of whatever you do consistently will be the best marketing channel.

I fear Mission Beach may not be the best Mid-term rental market (a lot of people go there for short vacations, bridal and bachelor parties, etc). 

It would seem fairer and definately more accurate to temper the automatic chorus of "Its a scam" with words like "probably" or "most" etc.Cheers.

Adding to the chorus... same experience here -- spent thousands on Zillow marketing and received only junk leads.

In fact, friends of the bridal party often won't want to rent your space specifically because they've already been there for a wedding.It's still a viable market I think, but you have to realize you're not going to get that $5000 price tag 365 nights a year, or even 52.

When my wife had a bridal shop, she was approached to be in a show.  

I'm 31 right now the wife and I got the bug when we were offered the opportunity to purchase a bridal suite, wife is in the business and she was very interested.  

In the meantime, be careful not to get bogged down by the chorus of expert opinion, often conflicting, from every self-appointed mentor on the topic.
