Hi Megan,I have a lot of Bigger Pockets clients from all over the US and as far away as Singapore.  

Not a bargain IMO, as I’m not sure what the market value would be as a tic. 1- it’s really tiny, this isn’t HK, Singapore or even Manhattan and not a lot of tiny units trade hands in SF. 2- it really depends on things like the entrance to the unit, garden space, etc.  

I've "known people" to fly home from overseas with two watches,  bought in Singapore that were over the limit. 

My answer is going to sound like I'm being a smart aleck, but I own real estate in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, China, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Sweden, Canada, and Germany.

Singapore has no tax on certain investments.. 

then I went to Singapore and same thing met with investors of mine there etc etc.Now I went to Israel in November but I did not write that off as It was a personal family trip.. but if I look at real estate I write it off. 

I live in Singapore and will be traveling to Austin next week to do the closing.

I think we are going to come on the market at 1.95  exicted about it.. we put an elevator in it..I was in a client of mine in Singapores home in Feb and he had an elevator in his 3 story home .. ( and a single family detached non lease hold home in Singapore is some big buckaroos.. but anyway it was glass like a hotel kind of cool.I was also toying with a Tesla solar roof and power wall if I could get that by the BAR.. probably not though .. lets just keep this market going for a few more years please.. :)

However I just got in tonight from 10 days in Hawaii.. and Scoot  ( Singapore airlines budget carrier) was advertising business class from PHNL to Osaka for 495. bucks and 99. one way coach.. that is a smoking deal.. my buddy and I almost wanted to fly there for dinner LOL..

I come from Singapore which is a similar market and was I glad to buy there what I could afford coz I've netted some significant appreciation before there's a slight adjustment.
