Yesterday I found out that my old neighbor who moved away to take care of her father, inherited the house next door upon his death. 

31 years of age, A Husband and father.

That doesn't surprise me about NJ, knowing what I do as a person who's lived in the tri-state area for 25+ years, especially since becoming a father and coming to truly appreciate what NJ has to offer offer.

I'm guessing the project is $30k - $40kish.I'm lucky in a sense because my father is a retired contractor so he and I are going to do a lot of the work together.That said, a good friend of mine just did a full gut on a 2 family he bought in Medford. 

@Chris Seveney  Good mourning Chris thank you so much for this response. what are 3 really good books I can buy for Commericial Real Estate investing (I have the millionaire Real Estate investor by Gary Keller), I've also looked at some CRE courses and I noticed some of them are asking for a bunch of money which kind of sketches me out, and about the military I was firstly thinking of  buying a 4 unit property and live in one of them then buy another a couple then with that I can buy a bigger property that's the idea I had in my mind because my father kept on telling me how CRE is only for rich people and it's risky but that's what I want too do .

When the whole covid shutdown occurred, I dropped out of college to help my father's service business maintaining and remodeling residential and commercial buildings.

I am a father to one, she’s my reason to keep going and not give up no matter how hard or complicating it gets.

I am five months in quieting a title on a home/property that was initially obtained by my father in a tax sale.

This is like the episode of MASH where Klinger brings Colonel Blake a letter from his Mom saying his father is dying.

My father became interested in real estate investing, and rather than my tutoring him, I suggested he take the Nickerson - Lowery course/workshops.
