The next option is to get the device (you can get on Amazon) that shows the meter for what one unit is pulling versus the other.

Sure you can argue 1031 exchange and such, but again apples-to-apples, you will end up making more money with stocks and with much little headaches. 

I'm using rent to retirement for 2 new builds with Beaty and so far the experience has been good, however curious to compare apples with apples.

You can't call up Apple's CEO and suggest improvements, but you can definitely upgrade your rental property's kitchen to command higher rent.

YUP anyone advocating this to the public is not doing the industry any favors to many bad apples and even if your the holier than though trainer etc etc.. the students are such that you cannot know who is going to be a bad apples and screw people.. having spent 40 years lending money to investors .. its the nicest ones up front that end up being bad apples.

So I think you may be mixing apples and oranges.
