Harder to remove hair etc, more things to go wrong.  

They basically affirm that the lease the seller gave you is true and accurate and there are no changes or other terms to a lease that could come back and bite you later.

I appreciated the positive affirmation to keep pushing towards your goals.

He cleaned the tub and bathroim sink drains, which were slow, and he pulled out hair and rubber bands!

@Russell BrazilNot to split hairs here but on the five year independent thing I am being somewhat facetious (I did see guys do it however and do it big-time) but the upside was much bigger in my opinion 5 years ago even 2 years ago, at least around here.  

I had one tenant with pink hair dye stains..For glass top stoves turn the burners on to examine for cracks.

Hopefully, I will never sell one of my rental properties at a loss and thus will never have to deal with this dilemma.I am open to changing my viewpoinit if @Amanda Han will provide a reference to the tax code,  a Treasury regulation, or a Tax Court ruling that affirms the position taken in the book.
